Many women like to come up with new nail design ideas in order to keep their look fresh and new. Fortunately there are many places to get new nail design ideas and most of them are fun to investigate.


One of the things I like to do to get ideas is to go to my nail salon and see what others are doing and taking their nail design ideas and making some adjustments so my ideas are unique to me. Imitation with a little personalization goes a long way when it comes to making your nails beautiful.

One of the other things I do is to look at other ladies’ tattoos as that can give you some very interesting ideas for beautiful colorful nails and often will get you something that your nail salon can create to make your design very stunning and really stand out from the crowd as well as make you feel very good about yourself.

It is important that one feels good about themselves and that is one of the reasons I like to have my nails done every 2 or 3 weeks as well as having my hair done fairly frequently. Having my hair done often also affords me an opportunity to see other nail design ideas as well as talk them over with some of the other ladies as well as my hairdresser.

Sharing ideas and thoughts is an excellent resource for ideas as well as it is fun to interact with others that have the same interests as you do. I usually like to have the colors on my nails blend into one another and generally prefer the lighter hues as they compliment my skin tone.

There are other times when my mood is one where I like something that is a little outlandish with very tropical colors and even some little pictures of the Sun… that is generally something I do when planning my spring nail ideas as the long cold winter is over and the fresh springtime air brings out a different feeling in me.

My first manicure in the springtime is usually the one that I like best because I go a little out of my typical self and also because the spring time is my favorite time of the year. Spring colors are happy colors and I like to design my nails using those colors at that time of the year.

One thing I like to avoid is a nail design that requires heavy painting because if you chip one part of your nail, the underlying color(s) will show through and getting that repaired is usually very hard to get done so as to match the rest of my nails. Even with a quality shellac and an excellent manicurist, it is almost unavoidable to get the process perfect so I find that avoiding those kinds of nail design ideas.
