Who does not want to lose weight? All of us want to look trim and fit and in our endeavor to look our best we are constantly on the look out to find out better and interesting ways and means to shed these unwanted kilos. Green coffee beans are basically a healthier and supposedly weight loss inducing coffee beans. As compared to normal coffee beans, these ones are not roasted. It is believed and scientifically proven that roasting coffee beans under the normal method reduces the level of chlorogenic acid in the beans. This chemical called chlorogenic acid is known to aid in weight loss, aid to cure diabetes and also help in healing heart ailments.

This mode of weight loss was first mentioned in Dr Oz show in the year 2012. The Dr Oz show was the first to launch the concept of Green Coffee and introduce its benefits to the rest of the world. The show showcased the various health benefits of Green Coffee. In fact the show also proclaimed the fact that simply consuming Green Coffee is enough for weight loss. One does not need to even exercise to lose the unwanted kilos.

So, how does Green Coffee Work?

Green coffee beans as the name suggests are a healthier and more natural type of coffee. In this case, unlike the usual coffee beans we consume, these coffee beans are not roasted. As a result the chemical called chlorogenic acid that is stored in the coffee beans remains intact. This chemical is known to be good and beneficial for one’s overall health. It has a soothing effect on the blood vessels that helps to reduce the blood pressure level in one’s body. Also, it is believed that consumption of this acid aids in increasing the metabolism of the body and also aids in digestion of the blood sugar at a faster pace.

Hypertension: Research points out that consumption of green coffee or its extracts on a daily basis in stipulated dose helps to reduce the blood sugar level and hypertension considerably. In fact patients have started to feel the difference within a short span of time like say 28days.

Weight Loss: Research has also pointed out stating that consumption of this coffee extract on a daily basis over a period of time say 12 weeks would aid in weight loss.

Other Ailments: Consumption of Green coffee and weight loss is also known to aid in curing Alzheimer’s disease and type 2 diabetes. However, there is no concrete proof that would establish this fact .

Though , many of these advantages of consumption of green coffee is not yet proved , one can safely say that it has no serious side effect on the human body. However , it is important to remember that after all it is coffee bean sand it contains caffeine that might have certain related side effects like insomnia, feeling restless and nervous, stomach upset and headache.
